Shloka 5 :


shrIshailanAthastadrekhA pAduke varayogirAT |

puNDra: senApati: prokta: sUtram kUrapatistathA ||


shrIshailanAtha: Thirumalai Azhvar (Thiruvaymozhi Pillai)

tat rekhA - becomes the lines in his divine feet

varayogirAT - Manavala Mamunigal

pAduke - becomes his sandals

senApati: Senai Mudaliyar

prokta: is said to be

puNDra: the Urdhva Pundram (Thiruman Kappu)

tathA - In that manner

kUrapati: - Kooraththazhvan

sUtram - becomes the yagyopaveetam (thiruppoonul).


Shloka 6 :

bhAgineyastridaNDashcha kAShAyashchAndhrapUrNaka: |

mAlAshcha kurukeshArya: ChAyA shrIchApaki~Nkara: ||


bhAgineya: - Mudhaliyandan (sister's son)

tridaNDa: - becomes the tridandam

AndrapUrNa: - chaAnd Vaduga NambigalkAShAya:becomes his saffron cloth;kurukeshArya:Thirukkurugai Piran PillanmAlA:becomes his (lotus & tulsi) garlands;shrIchApaki~Nkara:Dhanurdasar (Pillai Urangavilli Dasar)ChAyAbecomes his shadow.


Shloka 7 :

evam rAmAnujAryasyAvayavAnakhilAn gurUn | mahAntanjchAvayavinam rAmAnujamunim bhaje ||


bhaje = I salute

akhilAn gurUn = all Acharyas

avayavAn = who make the divine body parts

rAmAnujAryasya = of Ramanujaevamas said thus

mahAntam = and the great soul

rAmAnuja munim = Ramanuja

avayavinam = who has them as his body parts.


Shloka 8 :


gurumUrtyAtmayogIndram yo dhyAyet pratyaham nara: | sarvAn kAmAnavApnoti labhetAnte parampadam ||


yo nara: = That person

dhyAyet = who meditates

pratyaham = every- day

yogIndram = on Yatiraja

gurumUrti= Atma who has as his body parts the divine bodies of (the above said) Acharyas

sa: = he

avApnoti = (in this world) gains

kAmAn sarvAn = all desired objects

ante = in the end

labhethe = attains

param padam =Sri Vaikuntha.
